Join us for a day in our yurt learning to produce wood fired artisan breads.
We'll start the day by making a sourdough starter before moving on to produce a delicious sourdough loaf.
Next we'll produce a pizza dough and set it to prove ready for lunch.
We'll take time to fire the oven and discuss how to build your own wood fired oven at home.
We'll make pizza for lunch and cook it to perfection in our wood fired oven.
Later we'll make herby pitta bread and seeded tortillas and cook them by fire too.
Throughout the day we'll discuss techniques, the theory behind bread making, flour types and do our best to answer any questions that you may have.
Courses include tea, coffee and pastries on arrival, a glorious wood-fired pizza lunch and then tea, coffee and cake in the afternoon.
You will take home your sourdough loaf, sourdough starter, pitta breads, tortillas, left-over pizza if you can't bear to part with it, recipe cards and hopefully a big smile and huge sense of achievement!
Courses run from 9:30 - 16:30
